Fawaris - δ Cygni (delta Cygni)

Altitude: 47.6°   Azimuth: 71.8°   Direction: East-North-East

Fawaris, also designated as δ Cygni (delta Cygni), is a variable and multiple sub-giant star in the constellation of Cygnus.

Fawaris visual magnitude is 2.87. Thanks to its high brightness, Fawaris is clearly visible when observed from locations with dark skies, and should be also quite easily visible from light polluted areas.

The proper motion of Fawaris is 0.053 arcsec per year in Right Ascension and 0.047 arcsec per year in Declination and the associated displacement for the next 10000 years is represented with the red arrow.
