Asteroid 349 Dembowska is a main-belt asteroid that was discovered on February 9, 1892, by Max Wolf at the Heidelberg Observatory in Germany. It is named after the Polish astronomer, Anna Dembowska. This asteroid has an irregular shape with dimensions of 139.77±4.3 × 140 × 145.23±17.21 km, and a rotation period of 4.7 hours. Its surface is relatively bright and is composed of silicate minerals and some metallic nickel-iron. Dembowska has an orbital period of 4.32 years and a distance from the Sun of about 2.4 astronomical units.
