IC 1287 - Reflection Nebula in Scutum

IC 1287 is a Reflection Nebula in the Scutum constellation. IC 1287 is situated close to the celestial equator and, as such, it is at least partly visible from both hemispheres in certain times of the year. Given its B magnitude of 6.1, IC 1287 is easily visible with the help of a small binocular.
