Messier 55 - Globular Cluster in Sagittarius

Messier 55 is a Globular Cluster in the Sagittarius constellation. Messier 55 is situated south of the celestial equator and, as such, it is more easily visible from the southern hemisphere. Given its visual magnitude of 6.49, Messier 55 is easily visible with the help of a small binocular.
