Messier 71 is a Globular Cluster in the Sagitta constellation. Messier 71 is situated close to the celestial equator and, as such, it is at least partly visible from both hemispheres in certain times of the year. Given its visual magnitude of 6.1, Messier 71 is easily visible with the help of a small binocular.
