NGC 1473 - Irregular Galaxy in Hydrus

NGC 1473 is a Irregular Galaxy in the Hydrus constellation. NGC 1473 is situated south of the celestial equator and, as such, it is more easily visible from the southern hemisphere. Given its B magnitude of 13.76, NGC 1473 is visible with the help of a telescope having an aperture of 14 inches (350mm) or more.
