NGC 2915 - Barred Spiral Galaxy in Chamaeleon

NGC 2915 is a Barred Spiral Galaxy in the Chamaeleon constellation. NGC 2915 is situated close to the southern celestial pole and, as such, it is easilty visible for most part of the year from the southern hemisphere. Given its visual magnitude of 12.68, NGC 2915 is visible with the help of a telescope having an aperture of 10 inches (250mm) or more.
