NGC 4609 (Coalsack Cluster) - Open Cluster in Crux

NGC 4609 is a Open Cluster in the Crux constellation. NGC 4609 is situated south of the celestial equator and, as such, it is more easily visible from the southern hemisphere. Given its visual magnitude of 6.9, NGC 4609 is visible with the help of a small binocular.
