1 Arietis is a double giant star of spectral class K1 in the constellation of Aries.

1 Arietis visual magnitude is 5.86. Because of its faintness, 1 Arietis is visible to the naked eye only from locations with very dark skies, while it is not visible at all from skies affected by light pollution.
