β Sextantis is a variable main-sequence star of spectral class B6 in the constellation of Sextans.

β Sextantis visual magnitude is 5.09. Because of its faintness, β Sextantis is visible to the naked eye only from locations with very dark skies, while it is not visible at all from skies affected by light pollution.
