HR4492 is a variable and multiple giant star of spectral class G2 in the constellation of Musca.

HR4492 visual magnitude is 5.17. Because of its faintness, HR4492 is visible to the naked eye only from locations with very dark skies, while it is not visible at all from skies affected by light pollution.
