HR5488 is a variable and double giant star of spectral class B2 in the constellation of Circinus.

HR5488 visual magnitude is 6.1. Because of its faintness, HR5488 is visible to the naked eye only from locations with very dark skies, while it is not visible at all from skies affected by light pollution.
