μ Mensae is a bright giant star of spectral class B8 in the constellation of Mensa.

μ Mensae visual magnitude is 5.54. Because of its faintness, μ Mensae is visible to the naked eye only from locations with very dark skies, while it is not visible at all from skies affected by light pollution.
