ν Leonis is a sub-giant star of spectral class B9 in the constellation of Leo.

ν Leonis visual magnitude is 5.26. Because of its faintness, ν Leonis is visible to the naked eye only from locations with very dark skies, while it is not visible at all from skies affected by light pollution.
