Xuange, also designated as λ Boötis (lambda Boötis), is a variable hypergiant star of spectral class A0 in the constellation of Boötes.

Xuange visual magnitude is 4.18. Because of its moderate brightness, Xuange is easily visible to the naked eye from locations with dark skies, while it might be barely visible, or not visible at all, from light-polluted skies.
