Below the horizon.  Never rises today
Alt: -52.24°   Az: 203.47°   Direction: South-South-West

IC 2148 is a Globular Cluster in the Mensa constellation. IC 2148 is situated close to the southern celestial pole and, as such, it is easilty visible for most part of the year from the southern hemisphere. Given its visual magnitude of 14.23, IC 2148 is visible with the help of a telescope having an aperture of 14 inches (350mm) or more.

The image below is a photograph of IC 2148 from the Digitized Sky Survey 2 (DSS2 - see the credits section) taken in the red channel. The area of sky represented in the image is 0.5000x0.5000 degrees (30.00x30.00 arcmins).
