Below the horizon.  Never rises today
Alt: -64.22°   Az: 166.51°   Direction: South-South-East

NGC 2203 is a Globular Cluster in the Mensa constellation. NGC 2203 is situated close to the southern celestial pole and, as such, it is easilty visible for most part of the year from the southern hemisphere. Given its visual magnitude of 11.29, NGC 2203 is visible with the help of a telescope having an aperture of 6 inches (150mm) or more.

The image below is a photograph of NGC 2203 from the Digitized Sky Survey 2 (DSS2 - see the credits section) taken in the red channel. The area of sky represented in the image is 0.5000x0.5000 degrees (30.00x30.00 arcmins).
