IC 2523 - Barred Spiral Galaxy in Antlia
IC 2523 is a Barred Spiral Galaxy in the Antlia constellation. IC 2523 is situated south of the celestial equator and, as such, it is more easily visible from the southern hemisphere. Given its B magnitude of 13.62, IC 2523 is visible with the help of a telescope having an aperture of 14 inches (350mm) or more.
