NGC 2997 is a Intermediate Spiral Galaxy in the Antlia constellation. NGC 2997 is situated south of the celestial equator and, as such, it is more easily visible from the southern hemisphere. Given its visual magnitude of 9.41, NGC 2997 is visible with the help of a binocular with a 60-70mm aperture or a small telescope.
