IC 4862 - Spiral Galaxy in Pavo
IC 4862 is a Spiral Galaxy in the Pavo constellation. IC 4862 is situated south of the celestial equator and, as such, it is more easily visible from the southern hemisphere. Given its B magnitude of 14.58, IC 4862 is visible with the help of a telescope having an aperture of 20 inches (500mm) or more.
