NGC 1261 - Globular Cluster in Horologium
NGC 1261 is a Globular Cluster in the Horologium constellation. NGC 1261 is situated south of the celestial equator and, as such, it is more easily visible from the southern hemisphere. Given its visual magnitude of 8.63, NGC 1261 is visible with the help of a binocular with a 60-70mm aperture or a small telescope.
