NGC 2397B is a Irregular Galaxy in the Volans constellation. NGC 2397B is situated south of the celestial equator and, as such, it is more easily visible from the southern hemisphere. Given its B magnitude of 14.98, NGC 2397B is visible with the help of a telescope having an aperture of 20 inches (500mm) or more.
