NGC 2434 is a Elliptical Galaxy in the Volans constellation. NGC 2434 is situated south of the celestial equator and, as such, it is more easily visible from the southern hemisphere. Given its visual magnitude of 11.26, NGC 2434 is visible with the help of a telescope having an aperture of 6 inches (150mm) or more.
