NGC 6048 - Elliptical Galaxy in Ursa Minor

NGC 6048 is a Elliptical Galaxy in the Ursa Minor constellation. NGC 6048 is situated close to the northern celestial pole and, as such, it is visible for most part of the year from the northern hemisphere. Given its B magnitude of 13.6, NGC 6048 is visible with the help of a telescope having an aperture of 14 inches (350mm) or more.
