Above the horizon.  Circumpolar today
Alt: 61.76°   Az: 352.35°   Direction: North

NGC 6068A is a Lenticular Galaxy in the Ursa Minor constellation. NGC 6068A is situated close to the northern celestial pole and, as such, it is visible for most part of the year from the northern hemisphere. Given its visual magnitude of 14.1, NGC 6068A is visible with the help of a telescope having an aperture of 14 inches (350mm) or more.

The image below is a photograph of NGC 6068A from the Digitized Sky Survey 2 (DSS2 - see the credits section) taken in the red channel. The area of sky represented in the image is 0.5000x0.5000 degrees (30.00x30.00 arcmins).
