NGC 6253 - Open Cluster in Ara

NGC 6253 is a Open Cluster in the Ara constellation. NGC 6253 is situated south of the celestial equator and, as such, it is more easily visible from the southern hemisphere. Given its visual magnitude of 10.2, NGC 6253 is visible with the help of a binocular with a 80mm aperture or a small telescope.
