NGC 6397 - Globular Cluster in Ara

NGC 6397 is a Globular Cluster in the Ara constellation. NGC 6397 is situated south of the celestial equator and, as such, it is more easily visible from the southern hemisphere. Given its visual magnitude of 5.17, NGC 6397 is barely visible to the naked eye, easily visible with the help of a small binocular.
