NGC 6857 - HII Ionized region in Cygnus
NGC 6857 is a HII Ionized region in the Cygnus constellation. NGC 6857 is situated north of the celestial equator and, as such, it is more easily visible from the northern hemisphere. Given its B magnitude of 11.4, NGC 6857 is visible with the help of a telescope having an aperture of 6 inches (150mm) or more.
