NGC 6999 - Lenticular Galaxy in Microscopium

NGC 6999 is a Lenticular Galaxy in the Microscopium constellation. NGC 6999 is situated south of the celestial equator and, as such, it is more easily visible from the southern hemisphere. Given its B magnitude of 15.02, NGC 6999 is visible with the help of a telescope having an aperture of 20 inches (500mm) or more.
