1 Ceti is a hypergiant star of spectral class K0 in the constellation of Cetus.

1 Ceti visual magnitude is 6.26. Because of its faintness, 1 Ceti is visible to the naked eye only from locations with very dark skies, while it is not visible at all from skies affected by light pollution.
