γ Serpentis is a variable and multiple main-sequence star in the constellation of Serpens.
γ Serpentis visual magnitude is 3.85. Because of its moderate brightness, γ Serpentis should be easily visible from locations with dark skies, while it can be barely visible, or not visible at all, from skies affected by light pollution.
The proper motion of γ Serpentis is 0.312 arcsec per year in Right Ascension and -1.281 arcsec per year in Declination and the associated displacement for the next 100 years is represented with the red arrow.
