HR2142 is a variable main-sequence star of spectral class B2 in the constellation of Monoceros.

HR2142 visual magnitude is 5.21. Because of its faintness, HR2142 is visible to the naked eye only from locations with very dark skies, while it is not visible at all from skies affected by light pollution.
