HR4768 is a variable supergiant star of spectral class F7 in the constellation of Crux.

HR4768 visual magnitude is 5.48. Because of its faintness, HR4768 is visible to the naked eye only from locations with very dark skies, while it is not visible at all from skies affected by light pollution.
