HR4992 is a giant star of spectral class G8 in the constellation of Coma Berenices.

HR4992 visual magnitude is 6.11. Because of its faintness, HR4992 is visible to the naked eye only from locations with very dark skies, while it is not visible at all from skies affected by light pollution.
