HR8397 is a variable giant star of spectral class B5 in the constellation of Pegasus.

HR8397 visual magnitude is 6.37. Because of its faintness, HR8397 is visible to the naked eye only from locations with very dark skies, while it is not visible at all from skies affected by light pollution.
