HR8604 is a hypergiant star of spectral class K0 in the constellation of Pegasus.

HR8604 visual magnitude is 6.1. Because of its faintness, HR8604 is visible to the naked eye only from locations with very dark skies, while it is not visible at all from skies affected by light pollution.

HR8604 is situated north of the celestial equator, as such, it is more easily visible from the northern hemisphere.
