NGC 986A is a Galaxy in the Fornax constellation. NGC 986A is situated south of the celestial equator and, as such, it is more easily visible from the southern hemisphere. Given its visual magnitude of 13.97, NGC 986A is visible with the help of a telescope having an aperture of 14 inches (350mm) or more.
