40 Tauri is a main-sequence star of spectral class B3 in the constellation of Taurus.

40 Tauri visual magnitude is 5.33. Because of its faintness, 40 Tauri is visible to the naked eye only from locations with very dark skies, while it is not visible at all from skies affected by light pollution.
