HR1297 is a giant star of spectral class B9 in the constellation of Taurus.

HR1297 visual magnitude is 6.12. Because of its faintness, HR1297 is visible to the naked eye only from locations with very dark skies, while it is not visible at all from skies affected by light pollution.
