HR1648 is a variable bright giant star of spectral class C6 in the constellation of Orion.

HR1648 visual magnitude is 6.17. Because of its faintness, HR1648 is visible to the naked eye only from locations with very dark skies, while it is not visible at all from skies affected by light pollution.
