HR2048 is a bright giant star of spectral class G9 in the constellation of Orion.

HR2048 visual magnitude is 6.12. Because of its faintness, HR2048 is visible to the naked eye only from locations with very dark skies, while it is not visible at all from skies affected by light pollution.
