HR2999 is a variable giant star of spectral class M2 in the constellation of Lynx.

HR2999 visual magnitude is 5.18. Because of its faintness, HR2999 is visible to the naked eye only from locations with very dark skies, while it is not visible at all from skies affected by light pollution.
