HR4709 is a hypergiant star of spectral class K0 in the constellation of Octans.

HR4709 visual magnitude is 6.33. Because of its faintness, HR4709 is visible to the naked eye only from locations with very dark skies, while it is not visible at all from skies affected by light pollution.
