HR6272 is a variable and double supergiant star of spectral class O8 in the constellation of Scorpius.

HR6272 visual magnitude is 5.77. Because of its faintness, HR6272 is visible to the naked eye only from locations with very dark skies, while it is not visible at all from skies affected by light pollution.
