κ Scorpii is a variable giant star of spectral class B1 in the constellation of Scorpius.

κ Scorpii visual magnitude is 2.41. Because of its brightness, κ Scorpii is clearly visible to the naked eye when observed from locations with dark skies, and should be also quite easily visible from light polluted areas.
