λ Cephei is a variable supergiant star of spectral class O6 in the constellation of Cepheus.

λ Cephei visual magnitude is 5.04. Because of its faintness, λ Cephei is visible to the naked eye only from locations with very dark skies, while it is not visible at all from skies affected by light pollution.
