IC 1662 is a Open Cluster in the Tucana constellation. IC 1662 is situated south of the celestial equator and, as such, it is more easily visible from the southern hemisphere. Given its visual magnitude of 14.03, IC 1662 is visible with the help of a telescope having an aperture of 14 inches (350mm) or more.
