IC 5249 - Barred Spiral Galaxy in Tucana
IC 5249 is a Barred Spiral Galaxy in the Tucana constellation. IC 5249 is situated south of the celestial equator and, as such, it is more easily visible from the southern hemisphere. Given its B magnitude of 14.35, IC 5249 is visible with the help of a telescope having an aperture of 14 inches (350mm) or more.
