IC 3854 is a Barred Spiral Galaxy in the Canes Venatici constellation. IC 3854 is situated north of the celestial equator and, as such, it is more easily visible from the northern hemisphere. Given its B magnitude of 16.59, IC 3854 is visible only through long exposure photography.
