NGC 4248 - Barred Spiral Galaxy in Canes Venatici
NGC 4248 is a Barred Spiral Galaxy in the Canes Venatici constellation. NGC 4248 is situated north of the celestial equator and, as such, it is more easily visible from the northern hemisphere. Given its visual magnitude of 12.53, NGC 4248 is visible with the help of a telescope having an aperture of 10 inches (250mm) or more.
